LandMARKS 2021-22
ARTIST RESIDENCY

PROJECT OVERVIEW

I was selected for LandMARKS, a six-month artist residency supported by Brimbank City Council and Working for Victoria. Alongside my own creative practice, I documented the nine other artists projects, producing a range of photographic and video content. This role involved managing multiple deadlines and developing responsive, high-quality documentation that captured the breadth of work across the program.

THE ARTISTS

Baby Guerilla (Murals), Dagogo Obago (Dance Workshops), lrihipeti Waretini (Multidisciplinary Storytelling), James Welsby (Dance & Drag Workshops/ Films), Jennifer Tran (Food Art), Jessica Wilson (Digital Art and Play), Katherine Gailer (Murals), Mike Maka (Murals), Rachel Main (Films), Sam Elkin (LGBTQIA+ Storytelling).

OUTCOMES

LandMARKS brought together 30 artworks and events, 60 workshops, and over 600 primary school students, alongside more than 60 businesses, artists, and suppliers. My project Surface was part of this program, and I also had the chance to work closely with the other artists, documenting their projects — brought together in the video below.
